Adult Dance

Dance is for everyone! Whether you are new to dance or have previous experience, our adult levels are a fun way to get moving in a welcoming environment designed for all levels and abilities.

A $5.00 non-refundable fee will be applied to any program canceled by the participant.

WINTER Adult Tap 1 - Onalaska

AGE: 18+ YEARS OLD

DURATION: 60-MINUTES, 16 WEEKS

Dance is for everyone! This class is a great fit for new and continuing students who would like to experience the many benefits of tap dance. Make new friends and learn tap steps, rhythms, and vocabulary while strengthening the mind and body.  All students have the opportunity to participate in the spring dance recital.

Tap shoes are required and are available for purchase at the Onalaska YMCA.

RECITAL: May 4, 2024

  • A $75 non-refundable recital fee is due at the time of registration (includes a costume, accessories, and a digital copy of all performances)

Adult Tap 2 is currently only for students who have previously taken this class. If you are new to Adult Tap at the Y, please register for Adult Tap 1 on Wednesdays.

This class is for adults with previous tap experience who want to take their dancing to the next level. Explore more intricate footwork and faster tempos in this energetic class. All students have the opportunity to participate in the spring dance recital.
