THE Y FEEDS KIDS
Youth Food Program
The La Crosse Area Family YMCA provides nutritious meals and snacks to help kids stay healthy and well-nourished all summer long, which is a foundational component to their physical and mental health.
This program is especially important in the summer, as kids in our community who usually receive free or reduced lunches have a higher risk of going hungry during summer break. Children who do not experience food insecurity have more positive mental health outcomes.
Our program strives to fill that summer gap by giving our community kids and teens age 18 and under the opportunity to eat nourishing meals for free. These healthy and delicious meals include a breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack Monday through Friday. There’s also lunch on Saturday and Sunday! Join us for meals at the times listed below.
