Houser Branch CLOSED March 13th

We wanted to let you know about an upcoming project that is aimed at enhancing our facilities for a better experience at the Houser Y. We have been diligently working on this project to minimize disruption and any inconvenience.

Here are the details:

Project:
Replacing the Houser (Onalaska) lobby floor and hallway.

Areas:
The flooring replacement will cover various areas, including the lobby, the member hallway, the aquatic office, the music room, the top of the stairs outside the wellness center, behind the member service desk, and the childcare hallway. We are excited to share that we will be installing the same flooring that is currently outside the gymnastics center and multi-purpose B.

Duration:
The installers will commence their work on Monday, March 11th, and anticipate completing the project within two weeks.

Closure:
Regrettably, we will need to close the Houser Y on Wednesday, March 13th, to facilitate the installation of new tile in the member hallway, specifically outside the locker rooms. We wanted to provide you with a heads-up a couple of days in advance. The childcare center will remain open on the 13th.

24/7 Access:
Please note that 24/7 access will be unavailable at the Houser Y beginning Tuesday night at midnight and will resume Wednesday night at midnight.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, but we believe the result will significantly benefit our facility and enhance the experience for our members and guests. This project is long overdue, and we are excited to see it through.
