Dear Y Member,
Thank you for being a member of the La Crosse Area Family Y. We appreciate you and we are grateful that you choose the Y.
At the Y, strengthening the community is our cause. Every day we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. Our Y continues a strong recovery from the challenges of the past three years and have been able to deliver new innovative programs and activities, new locker rooms at the Dahl Y, new steam and sauna at both facilities, a warm pool at the Houser Y, 24/7 access, expanded virtual offerings, and so much more. In addition, we continue to add program spots for children involved in swimming lessons, gymnastics, parkour, and martial arts, to ensure that we are doing our best to get children enrolled in the programs they desire. Our staff team and board members are committed to adding value for our members.
As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, and in an effort to greatly improve your fitness and wellness experience, we have made significant investments in our wellness centers by consistently updating and providing state of the art cardio equipment, bringing in more squat racks, and revamping the layout. This enhancement not only increases the accessibility of strength training with reduced wait times but also optimizes the flow and functionality of our fitness spaces. We believe these upgrades will make your experience more efficient and enjoyable. Your feedback and participation continue to drive our efforts to provide the best possible environment for your health and wellness journey.
To address the significant impact that inflation continues to have on our operations and the need for us to continue to invest in our staff members, we will be instituting a membership rate increase this January. This will position us to continue to provide great facilities, innovative and high-quality activities, life-changing programs, and the amenities that you have come to expect from us. For those members who have been with us for some time, you know that we are very sensitive about membership affordability. In considering any membership rate increase, we carefully examine the need for changes before any proposed adjustment. Our goal is to continue to offer you the absolute best facilities and services while maintaining innovative and diverse programming delivered by highly trained and qualified staff. After careful consideration, paired with our consistent fiscal responsibility, the following membership rates will go into effect in January 2024.
We understand that communities succeed by everyone having the opportunity to be healthy, confident, connected, and secure. If this increase presents challenges to your household budget, we encourage you to consider our Membership For All (formerly Flexible Pricing) program.
